The Roka uses the lightest basswood for the shaft and the foam/wood core blade with composite edges and tip for one the lightest straight shaft paddles around. The carbon reinforced blade is tough and stiff with quiet entry and no flutter. The traditional grip is comfortable and offers great steering control.
